(08/11/16) 14-3/4" Army Flatcar from Menards!

This flatcar would look great with a tank load..

The SOO LINE markings have to be put on the 14 3/4" flat cars.

1950's era brown flat car with white lettering or 1960's era White flat car with black and green graphics.

Attention Menards!  

The Army Transportation flatcar is a nice size with a nice wooden deck, all you have to do is make a bunch of  them is 4, 6 or 12 different number.  It would make a great train.

These flatcars are already made with unique numbers--however many you buy, they'll all have different (likely sequential) road numbers.

You would get one.  If you were to add 4 items separately and pay full price as opposed to saving $20.  Technically you are only paying a mere $6.66 each for the additional three Lennox Semi-Tractor Trailers.

And look at how Cabinet Bob has demonstrated how great the two would look together

     Seeing as how Menards is completely into the military/Army theme, what is the likely hood that Marines such as myself and Mike will get some uniquely made items for ourselves? I would definitely purchase at least one of any Marine Items that are manufactured. Please keep this in mind for any future military themed releases.

I spoke with customer service and they looked up your order. It seems that the promotion was not attached to the 4-pack (inadvertently). You can expect a refund on Monday for the amount of the 2 free trucks. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I've had some people  ask about this,yes this is Menards Lennox  tractor and trailer

I order four flats as I have some tanks and trucks that need transportation.

Nice job Cabinet Bob.

We need someone like Solido or Corgi to start making tanks, again....

To help answer my own question somewhat I looked up the Army Transportation Corps logos.  These could help identify the era of the military stock. 

After I did that I looked at the car's picture, and I didn't see any logo to help me.  So, I would still like an opinion as to whether or not these would work for WWII era transport.

Menards is very good at making a 1/50th "solido look-alike" when they release the WW2 army truck and trailer on a 42' flat car.  I've picked-up two more of just the Menards WW2 army trucks and along with the original truck and trailer adding two 1/50th corgi jeeps all is slated to go on two 50ft flat cars.
