Ive just started on my new home layout, I'm using L-Girder benchwork with 1/2" BC plywood on risers as my sub roadbed. I'm thinking of using Midwest cork laid directly on the plywood as my roadbed. As for my track, I plan to use Gargraves flex track with Ross switches screwed to the Cork. If I choose to go with cork roadbed, will it do a good job of dampening noise and vibration from O scale trains? Looking for feedback from other modelers.
