I have a Legacy F-3 set. One powered and one dummy. I actually also have a B unit but that is another topic. After letting these units sit for a couple years, the units lost their identity. I reprogramed them but they don't seem to work well as a "train". The dummy which is in the rear will not operate with the rear coupler at all times. The question is this: should these be programmed with both the same number instead as a train? Also, having an old Legacy book, what is the correct procedure to program as a train? Finally, how long does this train exist?
