Well I somehow got one of these early. I purchased one of these vans at my local Menards about two months ago...

I love the box cars, especially the Baltimore and Ohio one.

Really like the Morton salt box car.

Can't beat the price  on this nice die cast  van !!

I may be in the minority but I prefer the more realistic B&O and like cars. My great grandfather had one job....with the B&O so I may need one!! thc

Dave there's probably a bunch of us in that minority.  The B&O never had a silver box car so why make one that color?  The good news is that Menards continues to keep the price of these cars  under $20.00 making them affordable to everyone.  BTW, my wife's grandfather worked his entire life for the B&O in the Mt. Clare Shops here in Baltimore.

if you have the Menards Trains Mortons Salt facility a couple of the Mortons Salt boxcars seems like a no brainer.
