Back around 2000 or so the temp on Friday was 94 degrees and boy did some of the buildings smell rank. Taking baths or showers are not at the top of the lists for some train guys and that day really showed that taking a bath is a good idea. It was the hottest day I ever remember at York since I started going in 1985.

Still had a great time though.

The following day though was in the 70's giving our noses a break.

I like your positive attitude, Joe, so I'll go with that optimistic outlook as I take to the road very late Tuesday night.

As of last night, I finished all of my craftwork and will relax; then, load-up Monday. See you there.

I will not be attending the York meet even though I live close by.  However I am currently in KY for business and stopped in at Roundhouse Electric Trains otuside of Louisville yesterday.  While their I ran into a couple from OH ( at least 2 hrs drive) that was headed to York on Monday.  Small world.

Also - had a great experience exploring the seven meandering rooms of mostly O gauge at Roundhouse Electric Trains - Thank you to the staff for a great visit.
