Is this the same item as the photo that showed a white light with a red background?
A billboard that comes with a box of trees

This is a separate item.
Thanks for asking! I'm sure other folks are wondering too.

Bob's Cabinet Shop with Bob trying to look tuff with a hard hat on
I don't think it is a billboard with that round base. Looks more like a tower with something that rotates on top.
That looks like Pepsi blue on that billboard, if it is one.
Water tower.
What, me worry?
Electronic billboard sign.
So, is it a Menard's billboard?
That's right! Check out this brand-new lighted billboard! And, with it's 26 interchangeable decals included, this billboard is sure to find it's way onto anyone's layout!
Prelit and prebuilt, this O scale billboard features 26 interchangeable decals. Decorate your billboard front and back with an assortment of colorful decals, including popular brand names and railroad advertisements. This backlit billboard also houses over 25 LED lights, ensuring your chosen decal will come to life with beautifully saturated light! Constructed of wood and metal for maximum strength, this finely detailed accessory also includes 2 O scale workers, a replica metal walkway, ladders and a sturdy base.
This billboard is specially designed to be used anywhere in your train layout. Use the larger (thin) base, and the billboard can become a freestanding sign. And, for a more permanent addition, you can remove the larger base and fasten the billboard directly to your layout with the predrilled holes.
Requires 4.5-volt power source (sold separately, Menards SKU# 279-4061, 4062)
Thank you,

EXCELLENT!!!
regarding the optional 3-outlet adapter, how far apart can the billboards be placed based on cord length?
What a terrific looking billboard. And quite a variety of signage, too! I'll be adding this to my layout. Another home run by Menards.

Garrett76,
That's a good question. After main the wire splits into 3 directions the leads are roughly 30" long, so technically if you hooked up 2 billboards, you can set them about 60" apart as long as the power is directly between the two billboards. Does that make sense? It sounds right in my head.

Very nice and I like all of the signs to choose from

very good, thanks
What... No Bobs Cabinet Shop ????.... LOL.... pout.... on the good side, time to order 3 of these ! Great job Menards !! I can see Play Trains is going to use the one with the cows.....LOL..
I ordered a couple of these because they can be lighted, although I still don't know if that will be enough to distract from my other billboards on my layout.
I like it!

Bryan, where did you get this bill board? I'm sure everyone would like this one. Also, I'm sure Menards doesn't carry it. Please let me know where you got it? Tom.
I don't want to hijack Menards thread but I will email you privately tonight where I got these and send you the info. The sign itself is homemade and I made a couple of other "inappropriate" and "politically incorrect" ads to put into them.
I would certainly like to know as well ..that is a great billboard!
Brian
What no beer signage!!!!!! Just bustin' your chops Menards. The bill board is a great addition and will most likely find a spot on my layout.

its ok but a slimmer V-shaped Billboard with dual video screens that are changeable, would have got me.
Thanks Bill.

For the price, I think I like the Menards billboards with the lighting already in place. However, that graphic would be a good one to add to the Menards lineup!
I just ordered three of the Menard's signs and fall trees.
Mark, does the billboard allow for a connection underneath it like the buildings do. Thanks Paul

Indeed it does!

I'd like to get in on that as I'm sure a lot of others. Email in my profile
Thanks

Dobermann,
I created a thread with all the answers and some of the files I used. You can go to it HERE
am I doing this right? I took the red plastic thing off but when I put the NS sign on loose it is very bright. Also, it says they are interchangeable, but they are actually stickers. Best way I can describe it is they are of a bumper sticker type of material and thickness. I am also using the offical 4.5 volt menards wall wart power supply. Also, unless I am missing something, there is no duplicate to be used on the backside. I will have to put Mt Dew or some such random sticker on the back. Is there a way to order another NS sticker?
Pretty happy with the quality of the unit. Seems fairly durable. A dimmer might be nice feature in a future release, IMO.
I am actually thinking up a way to make a custom sticker to fit this size, so that I can put various NS heritage logos on the back like IT and Wabash!
