The hottest cars are at Fury!! The Fury Motors dealership from Menards.
Dimensions: 15"W x 13-1/4"D x 8"H
Car sales in Train Town about to become hotter than ever with the grand opening of Fury Motors, the latest O gauge structure by Menards! Whether you want a sedan for cruising the open road, or trucks for that ranch job or construction outfit, Fury has what you need!
The Basics: This is a car dealership offering classic 1950s Dodge vehicles for sale. The dealership has a compact 15 x 13-1/4-inch footprint and comes fully assembled, decorated, and wired for light and the rotation of the rooftop platform.
Add-on details include customers and staff, decorative trees, and Jack the German shepherd. The officially licensed Dodge and Plymouth vehicles included are in the service bay, two on the sales lot, one on the rooftop turntable, and a fifth in the showroom.
Lighting requires a 4.5-volt power supply sold separately (Menards SKU nos. 279-4061/4361, 4062/4362, or 4050). Power may be applied through either a rear table-top plug in, or from below the building with a pigtail connector.
Why you need this: Dodge and Plymouth fans will love this! The structure has a timeless art deco exterior that fits in from the 1930s to today. A round turret design has a “Used Cars” sign above the doorway and the curves of the main building suggest it was built in an era when design appeal counted as much as functionality! This is a totally perfect for venue selling and servicing these giants of the highway.
Out on the lot, two customers chat about their vehicle of choice. You’ll spot a sedan ready for that big trip up to the lake, or maybe downstate to see the folks on the farm. Next to it is a Dodge Power Wagon – a 4x4 truck rugged enough to haul ammo cans, construction material, or the local scouts to the big Jamboree!
The main showroom has a tall marquee worthy of a movie palace. The vertical sign comes with 11 automotive signs that allow you to easily swap out your dealership if you wish. Scan across the roof, and you’ll find HVAC equipment and a turntable upon which you can position the vehicle of your choice. Power up, and it slowly revolves for all the townsfolk to see!
Just below the sign, you’ll spot a customer entering the dealership. You’ll also note a customer and sales rep seated at a table. Perhaps they are haggling over that Dodge pickup truck in a very 1950s orange and blue paint scheme.
The showroom and sales lot vehicles are easy to swap as well. Remove the screws from beneath the base and replace them with autos of your choice. The showroom may also be customized. There is a removable rear access hatch that allows you to change vehicles and to add office details of your choice!
The lights, colors, and the rotating table make this a Golden Era advertising success!
This has everything a train – or car buff needs. So whether your layout has a transition era (1940s-60s) or a contemporary theme, Fury Motors will fit right in – either as a new car dealership, or a purveyor of fantastic vintage classic cars and trucks.
