I am an independent O-Gauge operator, no budget, no shop to support me. We held our yearly Open House over two weekends. There is much I have to thank my friends and family for .......90 dozen cookies, thirty hours of help operating and greeting the people. That doesn't count the previous hours spent sprucing up my 1200 sq.ft. layout.
Here are the numbers......First weekend we had 802 visitors but the second we had 2 inches of ice and ten inches of snow. We still had 300 visitors!
We took donations for the local Komen Chapter. That will be processed tomorrow. Still digging out of the snow!
