Hey folks,

I did the constant voltage conversion on two old 1122(e) turnouts. Michael Mattox has a youtube video that I followed. I did it slightly different.

First, I did not completely cut-out the fourth side of the access panel. I scored it and then opened it like a door.  Before closing it I put a small rubber shim in to make sure the back plate did not ground out the middle rail lead connecting the light bulb.

Second, I pulled the old coil wire back through the plate and ran it out by the other wire connections. He showed drilling a new hole and bringing it out the top. I thought it would look best if all wire connections were in the same location. While de-soldering the coil wire from the middle rail connector, I pushed a tooth pic under the contact to prevent melting the plastic underneath. Here are a few pics:1122e1122e31122e1122e41122e5
