Plus I ordered 2 of the new boxcars, got the free trees giving a total of more trees than the local state park! When are we having the Menard's Customers Of The Year Awards?
Finally pulled the trigger and ordered some of the Menard's box cars (including multiples of the new C&O). Wow, got a shipping notice a few hours later and they're on the way! Didn't order these for Christmas delivery but will make a nice post-Christmas train arrival.
Good Day Mark the Menards Train Guy,
Will the C&O box cars be offered in a 8-Piece Super Set?
Merry Christmas,
Frank

Frank,
We should have 4 packs available for purchase within the next day or so. Thanks for asking!
Merry Christmas!

Just unpacked my box from Menard's with 3 US Army 40 ft flats with vechicles ( 2 with flat bed truck and 1 with tanker. Also got 2 box trucks with medical supplies. The flat cars are nice but I will sell them at our club this week. I am using the vehicles with my Weaver 50 ft flat cars I have. I still have 8 or 9 to add loads to. VBG Menard's did a real nice job on the cars and the vechicles! I may order a few more. VBG.
For those of us only ordering online, the coupon is worthless since it can only be used in a store (which kind of baffles me, but there it is.). Maybe Menards would consider donating our rebate to getting train sets into kids hands thru some charity
Also, can someone explain the processing fee to me? I mean, it's great that Menards is getting into trains, I love that, but I don't understand the processing fee at all. Why not just price your goods including all of your costs? Or, is this processing fee only for we unlucky west coast people who don't have a store nearby and would have to order online? I'm sorry to say that the psychology of a "processing fee" stops me. Hilarious to say that if it were factored into the price or into the shipping cost it would not bother me nearly as much. :-)
Funny our perceptions of what is a bargain.
At any rate, I wish Menards well. I'll probably wait until I'm in that part of the country and just go to a store-- an adventure!
This is a complete joke. Most guys seem to be straight forward here. Why talk in riddles?
Not meant as a joke. Meant as honest feedback from a potential customer. I'm sure Menards appreciates all points of view and does not consider it a joke. I wish them all the best.

You do not need to go to a store. Find a store that has the item after doing a search and then call the hardware department. Just give them the product number and they will check if they have it still. IF they have the item you can buy it from them they will ship it to you. I have done this to get certain vechicles.
Thanks Mark and the Menard team for these nice items for O Gauge.
