I was getting my K-Line scale Mikado ready to take to my local club, and I noticed this odd whine from the motor. Is this normal?

Take the screws out of the motor mount, and get some oil on those shaft bearings. Both sides. While you’re there, shoot some grease into the gear well. ….see if that shuts it up,….if not, the motor might be toast,….
