This autorack would be really cool in O Scale. Saw it yesterday on an EB train in Decatur, IL.

looks nice but the graphic could have been larger for such a large car. IMHO, it's hard to beat the NAFTA rack though!
Mike,
I saw a few of those on a train near the GM auto plant in Arlington, Texas last week and one of them was already tagged. I thought the same thing as you did, that this would be a nice scheme for Lionel to come out with on their racks. It was unfortunate that it was tagged, but I guess they saw it as a fresh new canvas.
That autorack would be just a diff scheme for a Lionel one right??
I would be hoping for an Automax set. Right Frank!
More scale cars like these are making the standards go up on my RR.
That is cool, I wouldn't say no.
I got one of them on video in a CN freight train a few weeks ago.
It looks like Providence & Worchester and Kansas City Southern are combining Auto Carrier Fleets.
To make it for O Scale the 3 railroad Heralds would have to be much larger to even be seen from a distance.

I just saw one and recorded it on a video Saturday.
The 3 railroad decals are very small for a real, long Auto Carrier.
Lionel could use the actual size railroad decals for the O Scale Auto Carriers.
Only the 125th Anniversary Decal would need to be reduced in size.

On the Lionel O scale 89' Auto Carrier they will have to use actual decals over the corrugated surface or apply a paint printing on the tall, narrow signplates like used by Union Pacific for the Shield Logo.
