Not so fast.  One of the globe lamps in the main building was out and all it would take is tilting it up and changing the lamp.  NOT.  All 4 of the lamps (grain of wheat in the white base) in the Platform extensions were out.  Evidently the maximum voltage for the lamps is 14V and at one time that voltage was exceeded.

All 6 lamps were replaced and a new power feed was installed that would limit voltage and minimize run time for the lamps.  The larger than needed feed wire was used to maintain color coding.

Right angle pliers came in handy for inserting the new platform lamps.
