I have a suggestion that I am going to adhere to from this point forward. A few weeks I made the decision regarding Semi Trucks to ALWAYS ask for dimensions before purchasing any model. I recently won an auction for a Corgi 1:50 scale automobile. When I received it this week I thought "what the heck"? It is very evident that this car is wider, longer, and taller than EVERY 1:43 vehicle that I own and is huge compared to the Franklin Mint 1:43 I just bought from BK here on the forum! I thought older Corgi was the one brand I could use as a reference but that surely is not going to work. I am going to carry one vehicle that "fits in" with what I have and am happy with . Then I have it with me any time I am looking for vehicles and can use it as a comparison.

 

This is just crazy to spend money based on a scale number that can vary over multiple scales. Watch for the Corgi to be up for sale soon. Grrrrrrr!
