I have come across two, new old stock, Lionel LCRX boards with installation components. I understand that these boards can control electrical components in dummy engines. There are no installation diagrams or instructions. How are they used and what do installation instructions look like? The following printing appears on one of the solid state components, LCRX0906 (C)98 Lionel.

Half-wave track power in command mode, and full-wave track power in conventional mode.  As I recall, the polarity of the headlight output in command mode is luck of the draw, it isn't consistent like later TMCC products.  If you want to use LED's, you need a bridge rectifier and resistor in front of them to handle the varying power outputs.

Coupler outputs are full-wave track power pulsed for about 1/4 second for each activation.

For incandescent bulbs, the typical bulb used is a 12-14V bulb, for LED's, add a 470 ohm or greater resistor after that full wave rectifier.
