I need a 167 whistle controller but from what I see on ebay they are not cheap. Does anyone have a schematic for one or could explain it so I can build a replacement? I am good with circuitry and wires which is very handy in this hobby.
Yes but until i knew which to put where that didn't do me any good. But now I can decide if I want to build my own or buy an used one. I will keep the group updated and post pictures if i go with DIY.
Here's a simple whistle & bell box I build from parts in the junkbox. The switches could be SPST push-buttons, and the diodes I used are 3A, but I'd recommend probably going with the 6A ones for regular use. This does both the whistle and bell functions.
