In 1994 a pair of New York City EL locomotives were uncovered in Garysburg, North Carolina. One of the locomotives was thought to be No. 119, a 440T Forney built in Rhode Island. What has become of the locomotives in Garysburg?

When K-Line was offering its 4-6-6T, I was wondering if any of those locos in commuter
service made it to logging roads and other applications, logging being the only one I'd have for the K-Line one....hope you get a response that tells you a little about what
these two commuter locos have been doing away from the big city.
This page gives a list of Forney design 0-4-4t locomotivesin various guages known to exist http://www.steamlocomotive.com/forney/
I noticed on that list of Forneys the "Emmitsburg" RR? is mentioned. I presume this is
Emmitsburg, MD.? People in the hobby shop in Blue Ridge Summit. Pa. just west of
there talked to me about a railroad that was not built?, that you can see the roadbed
for driving from Emmitsburg to Blue Ridge Summit. That is east/west while there is
an operating rail line through BRS running north/south. What is known about the
"Emmitsburg RR".
As an interesting aside there is a New York City horse led trolly car on display in original paint in the Adirondacks. At the muesum in Blue Mtn Lake.
