Years and years ago at our TCA meets we had engine pulling contests. One of the guys would bring lead from his printing company and we stacked flat cars. Every single time a Lionel 1950's Train Master would win the contest. This was all done with Gragraves track on wood sections. Don

In late 60s to 70s was a member of a group and we had a layout 80'X 120' with an L 80' X 40' we used gargraves exclusively because we operated either 3 rail or 2 rail all DC operation. This allowed us to operate 2 rail or 3 rail! The FM were heavy haulers to say The least! all were EL paint scheme as they passed within 1/4 mile of location and of course lots of LV paint schemes!!

GarGraves does make track perfect for locomotives with Magnetraction. It is called Tinplate. I have a locomotive with Magnetraction and I use the GarGraves Phantom Tinplate. The outer rails work beautifully with Magnetraction and the middle rail is black and blends in with the dark brown/black wooden ties. Awesome product and made in NY.

GarGraves stainless works with MagneTraction, so the steel 101/201 track certainly works well with it.
