Had to shoot this. I still have a long way to go, but tonight finished ERR cruise and sound and hooked lights back up. It's beginning to look like I'de hoped. Need more mini magnets to get the chuffs right.

*****in' man, *****in'!
Is that the ERR articulated boards?
It's the ERR SP daylight with close spaced pair of magnets. I wanted the horn, but don't yet know how to activate it. I going to put two more magnets. I want the cacophony of noise these things put out. Everything , but the air pumps. They're just too annoying to my ear.

Very nice. That' s about as good as it gets with a center rail. Nice scenery, too.
I have a Rail King Cab Forward that I want to upgrade to TMCC using the ERR boards. I never thought of using the GS4 sound set with extra magnates. But I have a question regarding your 1st couple of videos, why did the sound go back and forth between slow chuffs and fast chuffs while the speed was mostly constant? And you said you wanted all the sounds except for the air pumps. Is there an ERR board that has those air pumps and the horn?
Very nice....great work!
Great job John, as I've been following your detailing progress.
Have you thought about adding one of Gunrunner John's Super Chuffer/Smoker units?
That would be some more icing on a very, very nice cake!
I think you have done a "Super Job"................................Brandy
Sinclair, The chuffs change by applying slight throttle and go in and out of sync due to the closeness of the magnets. I am going to add 2 more magnets. It is almost spot on with the various recordings I've heard. ERR does make a recording with the air pumps currently and I did not care for the articulated sound chip, no horn.
Brandy this has two seuthe units which I'm going to modify with my own fan unit and injection tubes. Seuthe units work completely different than fan smoke units.
I appreciate the kind comments, I'm about 40% done. Lots more detail to come. My production type solder gun shorted out and blew up in my hand a day ago and I'm trying to find another one.
It may be time to buy an induction unit.
Nice job. Sounds really great with the ERR boards.
Wow, the videos are upside down on my Ipad.

Some iPad videos are upside down on my computer, so that seem right.
I agree with the the previous poster, a fan driven smoke unit and a Super-Chuffer would hit the spot.
Very nice. What type of Steam engine are you using? Forgive me I am still a novice at this and I have never seen an engine like that, I like it is different.
Kris, it's the Cab Forward, SP did those for all the tunnels, engineers in front, smoke in the back.
Thanks John
