Congrats! My layout is supposed to go up next Friday, but due to new flooring going in the room at a TBD date and no where else to put the layout, it looks as if it will be going up later this year. I told my parents, "if it goes up later, it stays up later!"
Very nice.Nick
Nice!
Outstanding as always Peter, love the Manger Car you built. Peter - can you tell me about the caboose? I'd like one of those.
Thanks for sharing,
Paul
Christmas? But it's not even Thanksgiving yet! Oh what the heck, break out the eggnog! Nice train Peter.
Merry Christmas, Peter!
Very nice, Peter. Hope to break out my Christmas tinplate train soon.
Paul........the caboose was bought at a Greenberg show in RicHmond last December....it was on table of low end postwar and MPC freight cars for $8.
On examination, it's an MPC General passenger car kit bashed with a caboose cupola and re-painteD and decorated for Christmas. It came with plastic wheels which I replaced immediately to give it a little more weight.
The seller had no idea where it came from......it's a unique item to be sure!

One more vote for that awesome caboose. You got the deal of the year on that one! I hope to have my Polar Railroad train up and running for this Friday. I have one more car and a caboose scheduled to arrive on Friday. Cuttin it close....
HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL AND A GREAT O GAUGE CHRISTMAS
LOOKING FORWARD TO THE DISPLAY
