Does anyone know when MTH upgraded to the higher meg boards?

If you are in doubt about what you have, look for the word SHARP on this component on the processor board. If you see SHARP, you have a 2 meg board.
I was posting on a G scale forum about the better sounds in the newer G scale Dash 8. I was asked how to tell if the engine would have the newer boards? I think the question would have to be answered so the person could order an engine in advance and know if it had the newer board.
