I bought this GP-30 AT Cal Stewart last year (2014) It started acting up in May when the speaker zonked out. It got replaced and in July after it ran one lap around the track, and zonked out again. My Repair Guy and fellow forum member, Jim Osborne took a look at it and soldered the wires back 3 times in one day. In October it did it again and Jim soldered the wires again. Well it hasn't run since that day because the rotation of trains did not fall till it was today... because I run all my stuff at my clubs and I rotate everything around. Jim has worked on Numerous engines like this and has the same problems the sounds die in the engine because the speakers. Has anyone faced an issue like this with this model?
Specifications: Proto 2.0 with Frieght Sounds, Item Number 20-2777-1, Santa Fe GP30 Road Number 3233. If I am correct, the year of production should be 2007.
Thanks
