I hope this is not the beginning of a trend...both beer reefers from the new catalog show as dropped on the Lionel website. That sucks, I ordered both. I wonder if they did not get enough pre-orders.

so early I would say its more likely a licensing issue than a pre-order problem

Back in the 1980's, Lionel ceased using alcohol and tobacco product trademarks on their rolling stock. They felt it sent the wrong message to the children. It could be a Nanny State issue.
If it's any of the above why then did they show them in the catalog? Time restraints on a year delivery item?
