21573 NH cleaning

I have a New Haven electric that is really dusty and would like to clean the body. I clean my postwar Lionel engines with warm water, liquid soap and a soft brush but I would like a opinion on the paint on these engines before I go forward with this project.

Warm soapy water is what I used to use. Should be safe to do. Test an area inside first.

stay away from the nose decals, they are paper stickers.
