Does anyone make a circuit to allow a 154 Signal to flash realistically? If to where can I get one?

I made one long time ago but you have to isolate one external rail.
let me know if you are interested.
Andre.
Thanks
I have tried a few of the insulated rail ideas, never got the look I was after though,. Will give the Dallee a try
It looks like you used an automobile flasher on the drawing
Did you have to convert it to DC using a Bridge Rectifier??
Here's one I picked up some time back, never tried it, but in concept it looks like it'll do the job. I bagged this in another train forum a couple years ago.

Relay and flash unit are from automobile store, they work with 12vdc. I have 12vdc for lighting using a PC power supply.
Andre.
Or you could buy one of the new ones. They do it right out of the box!

Aren't the new ones scale? For the toy train layout look I wanted the big ones (Besides have a few in the collection already)
I got the MTH 154 flasher - looks just like the Lionel one & flashes realistically

Lionel still makes the postwar style #154 flasher, MTH makes it too as Christoper2035 mentions above.
Lionel #154 modern-era postwar style crossing flasher
Both of these will actually flash more realistically than the original postwar versions, just an alternate option if you don't want to build your own circuit.
cbojanower: Lionel makes a circuit to flash their newer version of the 154 crossing signal. It is mounted in the bottom base of the signal. It has a part no. - 610-2760-300. Sorry, but I have not had a chance to see if it is still available from Lionel or North Lima Trainworks I don't know if if it would fit in older crossing signals without minor fitting. Hope this helps. Dennis M.
Chris,
I have the circuit board and bracket to flash the lights if interested.

I went ahead and ordered the Dallee flasher earlier today, but if I do not like it nice to know there are options
If you like to build simple electronic circuits, here is the one I use and it works well on the old 154 crossing flashers.
