Just got this from TW...fantastic detail...smokes like the devil and goes like a bat outa...now the issue. The front center red LED lit for a minute and now its out...cant figiure out if why/how it lights...nothing in the manual and I've tried every button on my CAB2. I assume its supposed to light when in reverse...any ideas?

Did you try the "auxillary lighting menu "?
ahhhh I'l try it and see if this engine has the menu..thanks
With engine in motion press emergency stop " triangle icon on remote" red light will flash, come to a stop, then start Moving and it turns off
nada...tried a reset etc., ill be chalking this up to a bad LED. Its right in the middle and was red so it only lit when in reverse...oh well...
ok going to try that emergency stop...
The munu came up but none of the icons had any affect on the light. I’ll try the triangle approach
Nope. Neither one of those approaches works. I’m chalking up to LED gone bad
So, being undaunted I had to figure it out I did Kind of After scrolling thru the set up (I have the Lionel BT track which sets the atrributes), It gave me a different screen on the CAB2, Now I have the triangle. I touched it and viola, the red center LED blinks!! YES. Now the question is why? Is it an emergency stop device feature ?

Yes it's used to visually show the train being put into emergency. Southern Pacific did away with that light in later years
Now I get it Glad I figured it our before I started to tear the insides out Thanks
