My brother who's about 8 hours from me recently picked up a 2344 and he's trying to get it running, The back motor works properly, but the front motor assembly is not meshing properly with the truck and it's making peculiar grinding noises - from his description my hunch is the bearings aren't in place correctly on the worm shaft. I don't have a 2343/2344 handy to check the orientation of the bearings on the worm shaft. Is there an easy way to identify the correct orientation of the bearings? I know there's a groove in the bearing block on one end and a notch on the opposite end - which end points up/which end points down?
