Hello Reading fan
I LIKE it I am painting a Williams Santa Fe # 2347 F-3 set too using soon to be repainted Amtrak aluminum passenger cars to blue S.F. colors (silver bodies, blue stripes across the windows) like the blue and silver postwar Santa Fe Lionel 027 passenger cars.

hello Reading fan...............
I will post pictures when done, waiting for the "Santa Fe" decals from Dave LBR. I will have to strip down the 8 cars and prep them for painting, adding on the "drumhead" "San Diegan" to the observation car so it be while by the end of this month I hope. The Williams F-3's are blue and silver # 2347. I have done making the pilots fixed to the frame and painted them too. I like classic postwar train looks. The cars was former Amtrak aluminum cars. I just installed roller pick ups on the Baggage car and one more in the combine car for lights last week. I have a lot of work ahead of me so to speak.
Your #2348 set is outstanding "classic postwar looks" thumps up...........smile

Awesome video and pictures ReadingFan! As well as a beautiful train. It was awesome having you today. You are always welcome as well as anyone else who is interested in dropping by.
Phil, my friend and I visited the layout at the Colombia Mall when we went to the antique show at the Bloomsburg Fairgrounds. I might have known you were helping them, it is nicely done. I hope their arrangement with the mall continues to spread the news of the toy and model train hobby. I also assume that you have visited the train shop in Danville. Hope you and the Mrs. are well.
Sharp-looking train!
Peter
I have always liked the look of that locomotive. The cars certainly do go nicely with it.
Very colorful passenger train, I enjoyed your video.
