In the Colorado narrow gauge world, the cupolaed combine coach/caboose that the D&RGW ran up to Pagosa Springs from Pagosa Jct. is well known. Not to
be left out, and a fan of unusual cabooses, here are two of my three rail
models, one from a kitbashed Walthers kit, and the other from a La Belle kit.
(as an aside, K-Line once offered unfinished Heavyweight baggage cars, and
coaches, but no combines. That is easily corrected with a Zona saw, and you
get two combines, with an exact cut down the middle, or less, if you choose
a smaller baggage compartment. Glue the halves together, paint to taste, and
mount them back on their frames. Adding a cupola and trim to that would give you a sturdy car)
