313 bascule bridge hookup to kw | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

hi all happy train day ! i am having a great deal of trouble trying to decipher my kline books wiring diagram for my post war bascule bridge, does anyone use this transformer with this bridge and if so is it possible to email me a wiring diagram specifically for the kw/controller and track, i dont have it hooked up to a layout as of yet as im just wanting to wrap my head around how to wire it up, test it for operation and keep record of how it actually hooks up to this transformer/track . i have the 96c controller and the utc lockon and the fiber pins but not the special lock on it mentions in the diagram. not sure if i need it . thank you for any help

The special lockon is part of the base. See below.

Track gets hooked up to the A-U terminals of the KW

Bridge terminals 2 and 3 hook to 96 controller

Bridge terminals 3 and 4 hook to KW terminal ‘U’

Bridge terminal 1 gets connected to KW terminal ‘B’

Bridge terminal 5 gets connected to special lockon on base of bridge

Throttle 'B' will be used to set voltage for the bridge.

well still having trouble seems one of he wires under binding post 4 came loose and shorted, stopped for today will get back at it by the weekend
