#38 Water Tower Parts

I have the #38 water tower (6-14086).  The water pump went bad on it.  The Lionel part for this is 6104202101.  That is for the complete motor and pump assembly.  The Lionel web site lists the part as unavailable.  I have the pump assembly apart and really just need a new DC motor.  I cannot find just the motor on the Lionel site.  The can motor does not have any markings on it.  Would anyone happen to know a source of where I can order just the dc can motor for the pump assembly?  Does anyone know the specs for the dc can motor? 

As you see from the picture, part of the exposed shaft is black.  That is rust from where its exposed to the water.  The clean part goes inside the plastic impeller to move the water.  The motor was actually rusted in place.  Once I broke it free from the rust, it runs again but there is no point in putting it back.
