This is a Bump... 4/2/22
Dennis as you know I have been recouping the last couple of months and this is what I have been doing. It is 99% 3D printed (not the license plate).

Just Beautiful Ray! With Padding on the skids no less... we wouldn't want scratch that hull!
Thanks Dennis, did my best to make it as realistic as I could. Started off making Row Boats and then Jon Boats before going to this.

This seems like a good place to ask this. I downloaded and printed a file from there called, I believe, an ‘upscale boat seat’ or something. I used them to populate an observation car I’m working on. They were great. One problem I had was painting them. I bought some good, all purpose pen sticks, but the paint didn’t adhere well. I’m using straight up PLA filament. Is there a paint for that, or should I use a different filament? I’m not a 3D printing expert.
Thanks in advance.

Where is this located?
Not sure how to "shoot you an email" so replying. I've been helping a friend with an old school O gauge setup with various 3D printed items. Things that I have created that are not in your catalog include:
Crossbucks (O gauge crossing signal by mrbillv56 - Thingiverse) , switch signal lights (for AC based systems), replacement container doors, replacement plow for an MTH diesel, street lights (upscaled from Thingiverse HO scale and fixed top for FDM printing), replacement internal part for old AC switches, compact spur bumpers, electrical pole w/transformer, replacement button w/ Lionel "L" for old Lionel transformers, and a ballast spreader for curved tracks. Thought you might want to have some of these included in the catalog. Other than the street light, the designs are all my work, designed with fusion 360 and printed on a Prusa Mini.
How do I get these added to the catalog?
Also - on question of Ballast spreader from Thingiverse last year - Items on Thingiverse are posted with a specific license for that item. When you scroll down in the main screen for any item on thingiverse you should find the license that applies to it. The Prusa supported Printables site uses similar licenses but goes a step further and makes it more obvious what the limiations are:
This work is licensed under a
Creative Commons (4.0 International License)
Attribution
✖ | Sharing without ATTRIBUTION
✔ | Remix Culture allowed
✔ | Commercial Use
✔ | Free Cultural Works
✔ | Meets Open Definition
When I post mine, I use the Creative Commons "Attribution" License. This allows anyone to do anything with it as long as they give me credit, which I really don't care about. If I had my druthers, I'd use the beerware license which is what I've posted open source software under but they don't give that option.
In general, if you find something on Thingiverse or Printables and other sites where you don't pay for the model, you can print them for your own use, but if you want to share or sell them you better check the license. As long as remix is allowed, sharing the updated ballast spreader should not be an issue other than perhaps attribution.
Just a shout out to Dennis and all the great work everyone has put into this 3D project(s)
Fantastic work Dennis for putting this all together and fantastic work to all contributors! I am not at the point of making buildings or scenery for my layout yet, but will be and can see this will be a tremendous resource! Hope this continues to be maintained and be available when I get to this point. Again kudos to ALL!
