How to stop video looping in iPhone 12, version iOS 18.1

I posed this question on some of the internet sites, but the answers were either unhelpful or merely complained about the feature.

Anyway, I thought I'd try my hand at making and posting layout videos for the Forum. I recorded my first video, but it keeps looping, and I cannot stop it from doing so. There doesn't appear anything in either the apps or the settings to turn it off. For those of you who post videos, how do you get around this?
