I have recently purchased a AAA 34" turntable. I have the Kober 320 Round House w/ the two extra stalls. I currently have 5 pieces of Gargraves Flex track inside the round house.

It looks to me, that the tracks are too close together at the current full 37" length.
Is there a formula or something that will help me determine the correct distance from the round house to the turntable?
There isn't any indexing system on the turntable. It's all done with an electronic eye on the bridge to line up the tracks.

My plan is to inlay the roundhouse base into the fiberboard since they're both the same thickness. If I have to cut the tracks coming out of the round house then so be it. I can cut the base off back to the gray round house flooring as well if I need too.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I was going to say that I wasn't aware of a formula exactly, but that what should happen is that if you trace a straight line out from each stall track they should all converge at the center of your turntable. But yeah, I think I have seen that Korber has some diagrams showing placement for a few different sizes of turntable

Not sure about a formula but it all depends on the angle of the stalls, assuming you want the track straight from the turntable into the stalls. Just set the round house down and draw a straight line from the center of each stall and where the lines meet thats the center or pivot point of the turntable. Then use a compass set to the radius of the turntable to the center to find out where the edge of the turntable should be.

I found this thread that might have some information you can use. When I was researching roundhouses a couple of years ago, Korber was one that I couldn’t find a footprint indicating how far from the center of the turntable it should be placed. There’s a post (#6) in the thread suggesting the front be placed 32" from the center. Mr Muffin’s might have more info.
