hi in my TM price guide book from 96 it lists a sunset 3rd rail AC4400 for union pacific and southern pacific can somebody tell me if this ever was released ?
cannot find anything about it online
also looking for info on the 1984 release of precision scale models DD35B that i found in the online brass guide on brasstrains.com

PSC as far as I know never catered to the 3 rail market.
If you are looking in price guide books, the models were obviously made. That’s the whole point of price guides.
If you are thinking you can easily find one of these models to buy, you haven’t given it much thought. Brass units typically consist of only a few hundred models produced and only one run. So don’t expect to see one available any time you look.
You can find one. Eventually. Begin your search now and stick with it until you do.
Also, most O scale brass manufacturers steered clear of the 3-rail market in the 1970s and ‘80s. They were catering to a defined crowd who wanted ultra realism, which obviously isn’t our market.
But Williams, Sunset 3rd Rail and Right-of-Way took a special interest in 3-rail brass in the 1990s. They fill the niche companies such as PSC ignored.
