3rd Rail ATSF Prairie 2-6-2

This is more of a question about the prototypes, since I am guessing that the 3rd Rail versions only have oil fired tenders, but did the

ATSF have versions of this loco that were coal fired, and where did they run.? I am guessing if so, they ran mostly on their eastern lines?

Yes, they did, beginning around the end of WWI. Early on they ran over the entire system. Later, only in the east mostly.
