3rd Rail EA/E1/E5/E6 Close Coupling

Try # 5 Kadees.

My set is several years old and I run close coupled by drawbar, but my radius on the layout is much broader than 072. Do you have freight or passenger cars with Kadees ?

Not an E unit set, but I had the same issue with my 3rd Rail FP-7's. I used the 2 rail Kadee coupler mounting brackets turned around 180 degrees and the short box Kadee couplers. Looks a whole lot better and runs fine through O72 curves.

Yes. I got a set of the Kadee #745 medium centerset shank couplers.  They pull the A and B units together close enough to barely touch diaphragms on O-72 curves.  Looks much better!
