Would anyone have some decent shots of a 2 rail version showing the Kadee mount arrangement on the tender? Brasstrains.com had some OK shots but didn't show as much detail as I'd hope. I am trying to improve the mount I came up with for my 3 rail version M1a and also fabricate a new one for my M1b. TIA.

I'll suggest dropping Scott Mann an email asking for information on the mounting.

I thought all the recent 3RD rail offereings came with mounting holes for Kadees predrilled and tapped, and mounting screws included. I have a few, including the much older H6 that came that way. The height was correct and matched the kadee gauge directly when installed.
I think the screws are 2 MM.
I already bugged Scott about something else, I hate bothering him really. Obviously I checked his site for photos.
Jim, none of my 3 rail 3rd Rails have Kadee mount provisions, even the newest steam I have by them, the L1s. That’s the reason for the post.

I have that locomotive in 2 rail. I'm working on another project that I need to deliver to Scott today at the latest, but I'm almost done. Give me until sometime this evening and I'll get some pictures for you. It's an excuse to pull this beauty of a engine out of the box!
