Hi everyone,

I have a question, my TIU is Rev L with the USB Port, so does this mean since my laptop

is also USB equipped that the DB9 serial cable is not needed? I did read the documentation

and I believe it implies the DB9 cable is not needed in this case if using a Rev L TIU.

Correct, I upgrade all my Rev. L TIU's using the USB cable. It also works for the remote upgrade and loading engine sound files.

A standard USB A to B cable, probably one of the 10 or 12 you already have if you've used any USB equipment with your computer.
