4.5 v adapter

I think Miller offers a 10 sign power supply on their website. I don't think I would use the 6 volt one, however some of the more knowledgeable electronics folks here may give you the go ahead on it? I was thinking Miller Eng. was quite strongly in favor of the 4.5 volts only with their signs or the signs could be damaged.

Don't exceed 4.5 dc volts.

I think I saw 1 that has 4.5 and had DC, on it!,  I was uncertain, if that was alright

because the Miller one does not have DC, stamped ,   let me go back and look

Do not exceed 4.5 volts DC unless you know for certain that the signs have built in voltage regulators. There is no indication that they do, as that would add expense and complexity. Here is a power supply that will operate 6 signs. The more milliamps (mA), the more signs you will be able to power.

I'd be VERY careful with that power supply!  I don't see where it's regulated, so lightly loaded it may output too much voltage.

 

I would plug in in to AC and measure the output with my free harbor frt multimeter before I connected it

These are cheap and will do the job nicely.

 

If you put a bridge rectifier on the front end, you can power your signs from any of your transformers.
