44 tonner won’t cycle or run in conventional

If it’s MTH and PS3, you have a bad supercap.  I don’t think these were ever made in PS2, but if it is, the battery is dead.

With bad super caps it would also never hold DCS ID when programming.

It is a PS 3. But if the super cap is bad, would all the sounds still work and the whistle and bell activate upon “command” from the Z4000 button? The headlight is also bright.

This had the small caps so not a lot of energy stored.  But could be bad, or locked in neutral.  Do a conventional reset.  G

I’ve done resets in DCS, but how is that for with a Z4000 alone?
