YES, I saw it.  I couldn't have imagined that the "secret" include the location (city-state) of the event.  How can someone make plans to go if it is not known where in the United States this is?  Obviously, many who have replied already know, so they are in on it.

It's a long drive from Texas, but maybe if you start really early in the day...

Hmm... Ohio, maybe 450-500 miles.  Texas, maybe 1500-1800 miles.  A bit of a longer drive!

 

I cannot make it that day because it is my father's birthday but would love to see your layout someday.

Put me down for 3.    (My wife Deanna, Ian and Myself)  It's a free weekend for us at this time.   Always a great day to meet some train friends, enjoy the awesome food.  Then head over to Coney Island and add the world famous Cyclone to my list of coasters.

I wish I could make it this year but my 13 yr old son auditioned for and won a role in a theatre production which ends its run with a matinee on 8/9.  It's kinda a big deal for him so I will need to miss this one but will live vicariously through everyone's pictures!

I wish I could beam myself up your way for a visit with you, your family and the visiting OGR forumites and of course to see the new layout in action but KC is a bit of a trip.  Maybe someday I can get up that way.  In any event, I am sure it will be a great time.

Alex and Dina's open house is a must attend!!  It is not only a great opportunity to see Alex's wonderful new layout but a fantastic time to visit with many OGR forum members!!  Wish we could be there!!
