My wife took the train the NJ this weekend.  Should have gone and snuck off to Alex's open house but I have to work.

U missed a great time Farmer Bill...was my first time and I felt welcomed by so many people...Alex and Dina are great hosts and such nice people...looking forward to next year and hope I can spend some more time with everyone...

Theresa and I had a great time, in spite of the GPS giving us the extended tour of lower Staten Island. We both met some wonderful folks. Dina, the food was great, especially the Spaghettio's! Alex, superb craftsmanship on the model of Marty's house. I was really surprised that Theresa agreed to come, as this was out of her comfort zone. She always says we have to do more things together, and since she never suggests options, I gave it a shot and asked. It would have been nice to head to Long Island and spend the night at my brother's place, but that was pushing it just a bit. Maybe our next adventure will be to visit the open house hosted by the NJ Highrailers?

Another awesome day at Alex and Dina's place.

Thank you to Alex and Dina for hosting another fine OGR party. I missed 2 of the last ones due to a small conflict with some little unknown NY football team. I was not missing another one!

Food was awesome, I did not have to have dinner!   And the desserts were overwhelming.

Thank you for a great afternoon. We are only 7 weeks away from the next Choo Choo Party!

You guys did it again!!! We had a wonderful time. Great Friends, great food, great day! Let's get together again soon.

Another outstanding get together.    The pictures and videos posted say it all.

Just think, if we didn't have this OGR Forum none of this would have happened. Thank you OGR but most of all a heartfull thanks to Alex & Dina hosting this annual open house.

I really enjoyed yesterday's event at your place Alex. Dina sure cooked some wonderful food there and it was great to see everyone there. Hope to see everyone at York come October.

Oh, and the layout is progressing extremely well, looks great and operates perfectly.  No surprise there.

What can you say about a day at Alex and Dina's to play with trains, talk to friends, eat WAY too much and have a great time, except GREAT TIME, GREAT FRIENDS, GREAT PARTY, GREAT FOOD, and oh yes, a GREAT LAYOUT. After all, the trains are what its all about (yeah, right).

And how thoughtful and what a great gift for Marty, one of the truly best people in the hobby.

Sue and I had a wonderful time, totally enjoyed ourselves, so thank you very much Alex & Dina.

Great photos. I got to get there some day. Always have a conflict. Glad everyone had a great time. Thank you Alex and Dina for all you do.

Thanks again to Alex and Dina for hosting another wonderful event!  I thoroughly enjoyed myself talking with everyone and seeing the progress on the layout.

Seeing Marty get his house was a highlight - a great gesture for a fine gentleman who always is willing to share his expertise with anyone who asks.

Just one suggestion for next year - do you think we could get some dessert???

Best part of the day was that MArty wore an NJHirailer shirt all day   We had to fight him to get that Patriots Jersey off but it worked

What a great day, great food, great company, and even great weather.  I also didn't get my elbow in the way of any trains this year!

Great day had by all.  It was nice to meet and talk to the OGR forum members at this fine event put on by Alex and Dina.  The weather was great.  The food was awesome Dina!  And the desserts, oh those desserts.

The desserts were absurd!  We'd have all died of sugar poisoning if we tried to eat half that huge amount of sweets!

Let's see...about the same time all this was going on I was probably sitting at a rest stop on the Ohio Turnpike eating a slice of Sbarro's pizza.

I heard people from that part of the state had to pay a premium at the door.
