Are these available for replacement? If not I assume these can be replaced with 3v boards. Who is a good repair facility?

They have 3volt boards that will directly plug into the 5 volt harness but you will have remount the new 3 volt boards, replace the battery with a 3 volt battery and replace speaker too.
About a 225.00 investment if you do it yourself.
Good luck
A good way to get it done. The processor board number is AE-0000016 and the power board is AE-0000015. If you do a GG-1 with operating pans you need processor board number AE-0000018.
This an older ac4400 with a 5v board. I have a couple of new 3v kits that have everything in them. They are much different than the 5v and I assume the kit is complete to fix this engine. chief
The Kits are to convert a PS1 to PS2. If you are going to use those kits you'll need to start the wiring process from scratch, just as if you are doing an upgrade. Like Marty stated with those supplied part numbers, those are ps2 boards that are 3v that have the 5v connections in the proper place to use with your existing wiring. If you want to save yourself a great deal of work, consider selling one of the upgrade kits to pay for the already setup 3v - 5v conversion boards. It may be worth it to save you from some of the hassels.
That is what I will do as I have no plans to convert any ps-1 engines to ps-2.
My engine is a dash-9 where on mth,s site do I find the right board? chief
Thanks for the info Marty.
The boards needed for the conversion are AE0000015 and AE0000016
Also you need a diesel 3V to 5V hardware kit which contains the new battery, mounting for the boards with heat sink and the correct 4 ohm speaker.
part number is IC0000024.
All parts are ASC parts only.
Some modification needs to be made to fit the 3V boards and also re-download of the sound file. Typical takes around 4 hours for us to complete on a single unit diesel with dual motors.
