My friends "new" TMCC Lionmaster Challenger needs 4 new traction tires, and the 2 in the box are much too thick to work properly, since they are rubbing the inside drive wheels. I found other threads that describe this issue with this exact engine, but no one ever came back with a verified solution. The Lionel replacements are listed as follows:

TRACTION TIRE / 1.00" ID x .046" TH x .118" WD
but I'm not sure that I trust that information now. Does anyone know the true size of the tires, and if they're available from MTH or Lionel? I would measure the wheel myself, but i need to get a new battery for my digital calipers. Thanks.
