A few weeks ago I change the wick  on my challenger and it's smokes pretty good right now.  However in changing the work when the engine is in motion a lot of smoke comes out the whistle.  When I blow the whistle the smoke comes out of the stack but more than normal.  Is there a stopper or some form of thing that enables the whistle smoke to activate that I broke?  I took it apart and I was very careful when I change out the wick. Here is a video

Hi Tim

This could be happening because of a few different reasons, in the picture below number 2 the opening is on the bottom. Make sure yours is the same way, also that opening should have batting under it and of course on both sides.  Number 3 the gasket make sure it's seated correctly. Another reason can be the amount of batting you used and the way it was placed in the smoke bowl. Must make sure you didn't block the fans with batting. If you can take a picture of your install that would help.
