Hey guys, I found this 6" tin car that might have been part of something... Once? What should I build out of it?
Flat car? Car car? It's the tab/slot so I'm thinking maybe something for clockwork trains.
Thoughts for weird loads?

It is a basic Marx 6" frame - you can put on any number of Marx bodies - tank car, gondola, boxcar, caboose, cattle car, hopper, etc. What it isn't is a flat car for loads - those came with additional clamps to hold the items in place.

Yup! I'm not worried if I have to build for it. What I'm saying is that I don't have the rest of what it was, what should it be now?

A visit to Walt Hiteshew's Marxtin site might give you ideas. Click on the 'Customs' link in the right column - you'll see some awesome work by a gent called Fred Pauling.
The 2 slots on the rear would indicate an observation railing or caboose but those cars would not have a rear coupler so it is a quandry.
