Rode the train today from Allentown to Pittston and here are a few quick shots for y'all to enjoy.

Despite being a loooong day I really want to thank the Fort Wayne Rail Historical Society - especially Gary for pulling us nice and smoothly all day and for Rich (who was very busy behind the scenes so I left him alone) who whenever I saw him was taking time to chat with many railfans on the train and answer any questions they had. There are many people at FWRHS to thank as well and especially given all the full time and overtime work they have been putting in the last few months and years prior getting the 765 to where she is today.

Thanks to the R&N for being a gracious host and bringing 425 up. Seeing her was a very pleasant surprise and I know many folks worked hard up to the very last second getting that engine ready for this occasion. It was the highlight if the trip for my father and I.

Also of course to NS - the transportation, mechanical and executive level folks who made this possible. Especially to Mr. Saxtan who had his hands full all day keeping temperamental HVAC units in line as best he could!

Thanks for a memorable run through the spectacular Lehigh Gorge!!
