When the 765 comes in to St. Louis on Sept 7, I know she is coming in from Decatur to St. Louis. Once in St. Louis, it said on the schedule that the trips are from Berkley to St. Peters. There is a yard in Berkley, but where are you turning her at St. Peters. All I see is single track. Are you using the wye at the GM plant to turn the engine, or are you running the Wabash diesel on the back end and pulling backwards ? Curious as to how you are running the trips on both days.

No turn on this trip. The diesel will be on the rear of the train and drag everything back to Berkeley.
Are the rumors true that both the Wabash and Illinois Terminal heritage units will be tagging along with the 765 to St Louis? Thanks!
Maybe...don't know for sure yet. One or both of them may just meet us in St. Louis.

Where are they parking the 765 overnight ? In Luther Yard near downtown, or at the Berkley Yard ? Also, do you know what time the trips are for that Saturday and Sunday? Do you know where in St. Peters they are stopping to head back?

From a friend last week who said the 765 was went through the Horseshoe Curve - - I didn't even know it was out and about. Glad to hear though that it is. Please post other videos. Thanks.
Does anyone know more details about the trips for this Saturday and Sunday in St. Louis ? What times are the trips planned and where are they stopping in St. Peters ? Also understand from Rich they are running a push/pull instead of turning the 765. Are they going straight to Berkeley on Thursday and holding here there, or are they parking at Luther Yard 1st, and then up to Berkeley for the weekend ? Any info greatly appreciated. My 6 year old getting excited to go see some steam in action !!

Train will be in Berkeley all weekend, not at Luther. Trips should depart at 0900 and 1200.
All I know about St. Peters is that's where we stop and go back. I don't know the specific location. When someone says, "That'll do." we'll stop.
It is a pull-pull operation, with a diesel on the rear to pull the train back to Berkeley.

I am a Saint Louisian and know where Berkley is, but I have no clue how to access the location of 765. Can anyone help me? I really want to get down there tomorrow morning and see the engine depart!

I went today and it was really cool. Take I170 and get off at Hanley Road. Go south on Hanley just a few hundred feet and the access to the yard will be on your right. Police were directing traffic. Also, I caught the 765 on the move at Airport and Banshee Roads behind the Boeing complex.
