He is having to use tubular track to allow a door to clear as the door must be sealed for Santa. He will have another loop with fastrak around their tree.

Hope I get to see that happen with grand kids in a few years. Great he looks like he is loving it!!

Awesome!
Cute. But the movie came out in 2004, as did the first Lionel set for “Polar Express.” So it’s not a ‘90s vintage.
Ya got me! I thought about looking it up but I vseemed I had that when all of my kids were still at home. Likely 2006...
90's is considered vintage?? What does that make me?
(thumbs up)
He has his second loop set up looks like there’s a 3 - 4 foot wide passage into the living room...,! Molly Mae, his golden doodle, observes!

You've got it all covered, grandpa: a fine looking boy, a great train, and a cute pup. Life is good.
Grandson came over Saturday and in 3 hours helped me lay a double track main line of 112 feet of Fastrak (I am a humble carpet seasonal operator). Some of the new track segments he was unable to fully snap but he really did a great job - saved me a huge amount of getting up an down after my recent back surgery. Thanks 🙏
